Pole Top
Installation
1. Test all units prior to installation on poles. (New units are
tested at our facility prior to shipping)
2. Secure mounting bracket (pole plate) (included) to pole
using 5/8” stainless steel strapping with .03” thickness. Use
2-3 bands per mounting bracket (pole plate), depending on
weight of display
3. Insert display into mounting bracket (pole plate). Refer to
installation instructions for more details
4. Recommended clearance above roadway is 18’ from
bottom of display
5. Recommended clearance above sidewalk is 9.5’ from
bottom of display
1. Installation works best with a team of 3 (one in a bucket
truck,one on a ladder and one on the ground)
2. Test all units prior to installation on poles (New units are
tested at our facility prior to shipping)
3. Bring the display to the top of the pole using the bucket
and hold in place over the light fixture
4. Individual on the ladder places the bracket around the
pole and secures with bolts (snug but not too tight)
5. Individual on the ground will spot to ensure safety and
that the bracket of the display is straight with the light/
roadway
6. Individual on the ladder, tightens the nuts and bolts and
plugs in the display, securing any extra power cord with zip
ties

Requirements
1. Power requirements for LED displays are standard 120VAC (60 HZ, 1.25A)
2. Ground fault interrupter (GFI) protection should be provided on circuit or outlet
3. Use only outdoor extension cords, such as type SOW, STW, SJOW or SJTW
